Midweek Odds and Ends: Goose Expansion, Closings and Barbecue
The Silly Goose in East Nashville is expanding. The couscous inspired sandwich joint has been a big hit and they need more room. They tell us they're taking over a space next to the restaurant and hope to have the expansion work done by June. If you haven't been there yet you should check it out. Silly Goose is one of the most creative lunch spots in the city.

Longtime reader, and restaurant scout, Ken notes that the Havana Grill in Madison has been closed for some time. I tried calling this week and the phone is disconnected. Ken also found that Rincon Caribeno on Bell Road appears to be closed. The phone has been disconnected and the website is no longer in service.

I was there too, yesterday, and so was, like, half of my Twitter list. We should all wear name tags...
We need to get back to the West Nashville Farmers Market next week and look for the mushroom log guy. Katie insists that she is growing mushrooms this year.
The pork is great and so is Chris' brisket. I am the guy in the picture and was somehow caught literally holding the bag (which had the brisket and the pork). I will tell you about the ribs when I get to them.
Thanks for the update Patrick...looks like I'll have to spend even more money at the West Nashville Farmers market this summer!
